Are you considering Medical Cannabis?

At Roulstons we believe in patient centred care, which means patients have the right to choose the type of treatment which may be best for their care. We believe in optimizing patient outcomes with cannabis if there are no possible harms to patient from cannabis use and there is an appropriate indication for cannabis use.

Roulstons has partnered with National Access Cannabis Medical (NACM) to provide our patients with personalized recommendations and access to medical cannabis. Talk to your Roulston’s pharmacist who will evaluate your medication history and potential drug/disease interactions to determine if medical cannabis is the right fit for you.

As a patient, in our cannabis program NACM will help provide you with a personalized treatment plan for strain selection and dosing. The program will also connect you with Licensed producers and help you acquire all federally required legal documentation. Beyond a visit to the pharmacy all other aspects of this program can be completed from the comfort of your home. The program will also help you access special pricing for seniors and low income discounts on a case by case basis if eligible.

The ACMPR the latest act allows Medical Cannabis users to access medical marijuana from licensed producers as well as ability to grow their own cannabis at home. Since Bill C-45 which came into effect October 17, 2018 allows recreational use of marijuana, the ACMPR has been absorbed into The Cannabis Act which allows Canadians to use either recreational or medical cannabis. Are you using recreational cannabis?

It could still have an impact on your medical conditions. Please see one of our pharmacists for a medication review

Is it cheaper to use Recreational Cannabis?

Medical Cannabis is often less expensive per gram than Recreational Cannabis. Medical Cannabis is tax deductible and may also be covered by some insurance providers
