The cost of the consultation depends on the complexity of your travel plans.
The standard rate for a comprehensive travel consultation is $90, however, we do offer a basic consultation package for short duration trips to low-risk areas, at a rate of $60 per consultation.
Discounts apply for family members travelling together.
Additional fees may apply for express amounts (less than 72 hours notice)
Over the phone upon booking, we accept VISA and MASTERCARD.
In person, at any of our Roulston’s locations we accept cash, debit or Visa/Mastercard.
OHIP does not cover the cost of travel consultations.
OHIP generally does not cover the cost of most travel vaccines, but may cover the costs of some travel-related medicine.
Most drug plans do not cover the cost of the Travel Consultation.
Some insurance plans cover the cost of travel vaccines and travel-related medications. The pharmacy can attempt to bill your insurance plan directly for the cost of these products. You may also call your insurance plan in advance, providing the Drug Identification Numbers (DINs) to see if the product(s) you require are covered by your plan.
Ideally, travel vaccinations should begin at least 6 weeks prior to travel. However, if you are travelling in less than 6 weeks, it is still important to have a travel consultation since some vaccines can be given as late as the week of the trip.
A detailed travel itinerary is ideal to bring to the appointment. Any vaccination history is also an asset to bring to the appointment. If you have a "yellow book” immunization record, you may bring it to be filled out by injecting pharmacist.
You may contact your current and past physicians for immunization records. There may be charges applied by physician offices for this request.

Yes, we carry all necessary vaccines on site, unless unavailable from our wholesaler.
